The New York Academy of Sciences, New York, NY โ [10/2015 - 09/2021]
- Annually conduct research addressing various global challenges from repurposing CO2 emissions to energy preservation of buildings.
- Led a research team of 3 and designed a syndromic surveillance system. The system estimates presymptomatic and asymptomatic COVID-19 cases using a deep neural learning model ML-SIM (a fine-grained disease transmission simulator) trained on NSAIDs data collected with blockchain. (Finalist Award, Tracking Coronavirus Challenge 2020)
- Coordinated with members from Yale University and developed an environmental solution addressing the greenhouse effect by converting CO2 into Sodium Carbonate to promote solar cell production. (First Place - Energy Challenge)

Kingโs College London AI Society - President:
Led a team of 7 and transformed a small academic discussion group into a thriving open learning club with 300+ members coming from all walks of life in the City of London. Replaced previous rigid AI curriculum with fun, quirky, and student-relatable workshops to substantially increase engagement rate throughout the pandemic.
MIT Entrepreneurship Bootcamp - CTO:
Led a 10-week-long food waste start-up project of a team of 5. Conducted research in the beachhead market, customer pain points, and FDA product safety, and developed a business plan to replace traditional expiration labels with food spoilage detection stickers based on existing Ethylene/Ammonia gas sensor technology. The project won the top 3 out of 12 teams.
